Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ROBERT WHITEMAN On January 12, 2006, Gordon Robert Whiteman lost his battle with cancer at Seven Regions Health Centre in Gladstone, with his wife by his side. Gone is that special whistle you would always hear and know Gordon was around. Gordon was born November 17, 1949 in Meadow Lake, SK. In his lifetime he lived in Pine Ridge, Gladstone, Winnipeg, Whitemouth, Winnipeg, and finally coming home to Gladstone in 1996. Gordon owned a hog operation, convenience store, and was very proud of his painting and decorating business of Whitelark Enterprises. Gordon's pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. Special times for him were spent at the pool in Winnipeg with everyone around, and at Pizza Hut. Left to mourn his passing is his wife Faye; children, Robert, Allen (Chantel), Raine, Roberta, and Susan (David); grandchildren, Tristan, Aidan, Declan and Dylan Whitman, Kaiya Ducharme, Duston, Sheldon, Nicholas, Bailey, and Gabby; sister Judy (Stu) Cornell; birth mother-in-law and father-in-law Lois and Murray Bridges; his special uncle Bert Whiteman; extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and great niece Trinity. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Lew and Dess; Faye's adoptive parents, Henry and Sarah Arthur; grandparents; Uncle Sam; and his cousin Jim. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gladstone Christian Fellowship Church, Gladstone, MB with Pastor Randy Fehr officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Seven Regions Palliative Care Program, c/o Box 374, Gladstone, MB R0J 0T0, or the Gladstone Community Benefit Fund, c/o Box 25, Gladstone, MB R0J 0T0.
