EDITH LEUSCHEN Peacefully Edith passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2006, at the age of 94, at Middlechurch Home. Edith was predeceased by husband Ron (1997) and son Brian (1975), grandson Dale (1978), sisters, Beatrice Rae (1997) and Dorothy Bowlby (2005). Survived by sons, Allan (Peggy) and Bernie (Marlene); daughter Lynn of Toronto; granddaughters, Tricia, (fiancee Christian), Amanda, Christalee and Ivy. Born 1911 at Lampman, SK, Edith graduated 1937 from Moose Jaw School of Nursing. Post - graduated studies completed in Montreal. She nursed at St. Boniface Hospital and Tache Care Home. Special thanks to the Middlechurch Care Home Staff. Prayers to be said Sunday, January 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres, Hwy #1 E at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral mass will be celebrated, Monday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 302-171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4 or charity of choice.
