ALMA MANTY (nee RICHARD) On January 12, 2006, Alma Manty went home to be with The Lord Jesus. Alma was born April 24, 1909 in Theodore, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Manty in 1999. Alma will always be remembered and loved by her son, Richard and daughter-in-law Joan and grandsons William and Charles; sisters, Amanda Hansen of Regina, SK, Thea (Harold) Goodman of Surrey, BC, Linda (Edward) Blanco of Surrey, BC, Mae Grinham of Burnaby, BC; brother Linton (Clara) of Yorkton, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. Alma's always thankful nature was endeared by all. She will be greatly missed. We express our thankfulness and gratitude to the staff at Calvary Place for taking special care of Alma during her final years. Also a special thank you to the staff at West Park Manor Personal Care Home where Alma resided for four years. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with interment to follow.
