PURIFICACION VILLANUEVA Peacefully, on Friday, January 13, 2006, at the Vista Park Lodge, Nanay Puring passed away at the age of 89 years. Nanay Puring was predeceased by her husband Crispin in 1971 and their infant daughter Norma, and one great-grandson Colin. She will be lovingly remembered by Linda (Satish) Kumar, Pining (Femy) Guevarra, Greg (Evelyn), Evelyn Capina, Celso (Merly), Edna (Rey) Santos, Danny; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Nanay Puring will be fondly remembered for being a fantastic caregiver to all her grandchildren she was blessed with. Lamay will be held on Thursday, January 19, between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 Midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20 at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsythe Road. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Guevarra, Dom Santos, Polly Quimio, Rene Vicente, Teody Garcia, and Greg Carino. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens in the Himlayan Garden.
