GEORGE KUKLICA September 14, 1920 - January 15, 2006 George passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his wife Mary; sons, William and Edward (Kuki); grandchildren, Eddie Jr., Shaun and Joey. George was predeceased by his brothers, Steve and Frank Kuklica, and sister Clara Luhowy. George will be missed by all of his relatives and friends. George was born in Slovakia, when at the age of seven, he immigrated to Canada with his parents. George was raised in Poplarfield, MB, and through his years he met and married his wife Mary on September 25, 1948. They started a wonderful and successful life with two boys, George and his family moved to Winnipeg in 1973, when he wanted the city life. There he worked for the Government of Canada as a carpenter for 12 years. In his retirement he enjoyed going for long drives and travelling to Hawaii. The family would like to thank the professional and compassionate staff at Concordia Hospital where George was able to find comfort during his final days. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last his days of pain and trouble are past. In silence he suffered, in patience he bore, Till God took him home to suffer no more.
