OLGA SKINKOWAY It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their greatly beloved grandmother Olga Skinkoway at the Seven Oaks Hospital on January 13, 2006 at the age of 87. Olga leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Christina and Andrew, daughter-in-law Irene and cousin Ernie Towarnicki. She was predeceased by her father Walter Yastrubchak in 1981, her mother Ann Yastrubchak in 1965, her husband Nicholas in 1990, and her son Orest in 2002. Olga was born on February 10, 1918 in Winnipeg, MB She was employed at Sears Department Store, Garden City, in the Administration Office. Olga was a lifetime member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church Women's League. She was a kind, considerate woman and will be sadly missed. Sincere thanks to Dr. Finlayson and the nursing staff of 4 Unit 12, and 5 Unit 5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for their loving care. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave. with Rev. Fr. M. Kouts officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Special thank you to Mrs. Jean Skrinski for being a lifetime good friend and neighbour.
