She met the love of her life, Dave, in 1949 and they were married in 1953. They settled on the Dupuis homestead in Lorette where they farmed together and raised their 5 children and 2 foster children. Mom's joy was in her family and friend's visits, gardening and in puttering in her back yard. Her passion was bird watching in her later years and she took much pleasure identifying and feeding the birds that came to visit. Everyone was always welcome at the house and many nights were spent laughing at the kitchen table. She was active in La ligue des femmes Catholiques and devoted many hours to community projects. Sally drove the school bus for 24 years which she enjoyed immensely. Mom and Dave traveled to many places across Canada and in the U.S. by motorcycle with their best friends, Romeo and Odile. She thoroughly enjoyed camping and fishing trips with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. There will be a celebration of Sally's life on Saturday, January 21, at 10:30 a.m. in the Notre Dame de Lorette Church, Lorette, Manitoba.
