IDA ROULETTE Peacefully on January 18, 2006 at her residence in Ashern, Manitoba, with her family by her side, our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and auntie, Ida Roulette of Lake St. Martin First Nation, went to be with the Lord, at the age of 67 years. Ida leaves to mourn; her husband Howard Roulette of 52 years; her two sons, Willie (Elsie) Roulette, and Allan (Jacqueline) Roulette; her five daughters, Hazel Roulette, Rose (David) Thompson, Violet Fritzley (Clarence), Diane Roulette (Frank) and Leanna Roulette of St. Amant Center in Winnipeg; brother Olson Beardy; sister Rosie (Thomas) Beardy; brother-in-law George Roulette of Ebb Flow; 19 grandchildren, 1 who had a special place in her heart, who she called 'My Terry Boy'; 25 great grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Ida was predeceased by her parents Maurice Ryle and Julia Beardy; sisters, Violet Beardy and Dorothy (Willie) O'meara; children, Melveena, Audrey, twin siblings Melvin and Melveena, and her son whom she recently lost, Albert Patrick Roulette; uncles, George (Maria) Ryle and Alex (Mary) Ryle; nephew Jeffrey O'meara; nieces, Sylvia O'meara and Cindy Beardy. Ida enjoyed going to Gospel meetings and also listening to Gospel music. One of her favourite songs was How Beautiful Heaven Must Be . Ida really liked helping her children around their homes. She was a very neat and tidy person. All of her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special to her. Ida would always make a phone call to check up on her sister and brother to make sure they were alright. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Ruth and Willard Beardy, Mary Jane and Wesley Sinclair, Rosanna Sinclair, Joyce Grouch, Patsy Klyne and the homecare staff, Martha Richard and family, David Ross and daughters and Rosie Beardy and family, the pallbearers, Anderson Family Funeral Home and the Lake St. Martin First Nation Band, Blanche Parenteau, Maryann Ross and Marie McKay. Wake services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 20, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. Services will be held at the Lake St. Martin Faith Chapel, Lake St. Martin Manitoba, with Pastor Gertie Bone and Michael Love officiating.
