PERRY HOWARD BOWSER After a long hard battle with many illnesses, Perry Bowser passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his father James Watson Bowser, mother Doris Deveaux, stepfather Harry Deveaux, one brother Ted Bowser and one sister Doris Murray. Left to treasure his memory are his beloved wife Evelyn Bowser of Portage la Prairie; daughter Linda (Joss) Blanchette and grandchildren Marc, Aime and Christopher all of Trenton ON; son Rick (Joan) Bowser and grandchildren Karen (Doyle) Moar and Daniel all of Portage la Prairie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary's Anglican Church on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. led by the Venerable Norman Collier. There will be a private family interment at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Perry's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, in care of Catherine Newham - Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1A7 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
