ELMER EMIL (AL) KEMILA Peacefully at home at age 66, January 19, 2006 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sharon. Loved father of Kathy, Dale (Rena) and Mark (Annic Deguire). Grandfather of Christopher, Stephanie and Kym. Cherished son of Ella Kemila. Loved brother of Sylvia Philipps, Cliff (Carole Petrin) and Beverly Blake (Steven). Predeceased by his father Emil Kemila and sister Clara Anderson. Al was a dedicated community leader through his decades of involvement with the Forbes Community Association and the St. Laurent Hockey Association. Per his wishes, funeral and burial arrangements will be private. The family would like to thank the staff of the OHRCC, especially Gail Macartney ACNP, the staff of 5 West at the General Hospital campus and Dr Louise Coulombe for their compassionate care.
