Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK JOHN GENSOREK Peacefully, on January 18, 2006 at the age of 87 years, Frank John Gensorek, loving husband of Peggy Gensorek, passed away. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy; his children: Ron, June (Gary) Jefferys, and Bev (Al) Anderson; grandchildren: Kristopher, Brennan, Chelsea, and Lindsay. Also left to mourn is sister Christina; brother-in-law Bob (Yopie), sisters-in-law Phyllis, Dorothy (Ken), Jean, Edith (Al), and Betty (Orin), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents John and Maria; brothers, William, Joseph, Stanley, Kasmir, and sisters Julia and Helena. Frank was born on March 10, 1918 in Beausejour, MB. He served overseas during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Air Force, before marrying Peggy England in 1946. At that time, he began work for Modern Dairies, where he worked until his retirement in 1984. Frank and Peggy raised their family in the Weston area of Winnipeg. No sacrifice was too great for Frank to make for his family. He enjoyed vacations to visit relatives, fishing with his many friends, and had a lifelong interest in sports (especially curling, cross country skiing, and his beloved Blue Bombers). During retirement, Frank and Peggy travelled widely throughout the world. Their favourite vacation spot was Hawaii, where they avoided many cold Manitoba winters. Summers were spent at Nutimik Lake in the Whiteshell, where Frank's generous good nature made him a friend to all. One of his greatest pleasures was seeing his grandsons and granddaughters spend their summers at Nutimik. He passed on his love of the outdoors to them. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, January 23, 2006 at Klassen Funeral Home. Our family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Concordia Hospital, for their care and compassion extended to Frank. Arrangements in care of: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 338-0331
