Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAXIMINA BELUYA DE JESUS It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and lola, on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Maximina was born on September 2, 1913 in Manila Philippines. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1976 to join her children and to help care for their growing families. Mina was a great influence on her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved to feed everyone who came to her table. She was a great example of hard work and loving service. She was predeceased by her husband Florentino in 1980, two infant sons Josephino and Efren, son Eduardo in 1972, and granddaughter Mary Ann in 1983. She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving children; Jessie (Lily), Grace Villanueva (Fernando), Edgar (Fely), Emily De Guzman (Rod), Linda Yzon (Jun), and Nestor (Eva). She will be greatly missed by her seventeen grandchildren; Noel (Daisy), Marilyn, Julie (Eddie), Bernadette, Jenette (Ron), Romy, Ray (Jenn), Tess (Grant), Mike, Jenny (Jarrett), Jeff, James (Kelly), Jon, Bob, Tyrone, Meera, and Josh, and her 14 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the incredible staff at the Riverview Health Centre, especially Sheldon, for the kindness and care they showed toward our mother and lola. Viewing and lamay will take place on Monday, January 23 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the E.J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Dr. Interment and reception will follow.
