Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE MCVEY (nee ECKERT) Peacefully with family by her side, Beatrice McVey passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on January 19, 2006. Beatrice was born at Dundurn, SK to William and Caroline Eckert on June 16, 1932; married to Jack McVey in March 1961 and predeceased by her parents, her brother Harold and husband Jack. She is survived by her children, Paula and Scott; her brother William (Margaret) of Roblin, MB, Garfield (Marjorie) of Edmonton, AB; her sister Emma Eckert of Winnipeg and Juanita (Paul) of Montreal, QC; her nephew Daryl Rougeau (Irene) of Winnipeg as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relations and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at St. James Lutheran Church, 871 Cavalier Drive, with Rev. R. Buck, officiating, with viewing from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200

She loved me all the time and I will miss her. Her voice of honesty and compassion will stay forever in the lives of those she touched. We often look for a piece of God in those we come to know, and that was her part; that she loved unconditionally, even those who seemed unlovable.
