ELIANE (LIL) ARBUTHNOTT (nee PREFONTAINE) It is with great sadness, yet enduring love, that we announce the unexpected passing of Eliane Lil Arbuthnott on January 16, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Lil was predeceased by her parents, siblings and step-siblings, beloved husband Arthur and son Patrick. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son Richard and daughter-in-law Ivy, daughter Jannette Honke and son-in-law Dale, son David and daughter-in-law Kelly Lukaszewski, and foster daughter Deanna McRae; also by her grandchildren Tracey Arbuthnott (Jill Connor), Patrick Arbuthnott, Daniel Stone (Sandra), Rochelle Moffat (William), Lannie Honke (Amanda), and William Arbuthnott. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Robin, Jared, Alexis, Sarah, MaKayla and Samantha; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Gordon and Jean Sweeney for their kindness and support. A longer obituary is available in the Brandon Sun. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Lil's life and honour her memory will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332 - 8th Street, Brandon. Flowers are gratefully declined.
