He is survived and remembered by his wife Rita and children, Marc, Monique (Macaskill), Pauline, Pierrette (Stubbings), Lise (Beaton), Denis, Suzanne (Deluca), Jacques, Michele, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and Rita's family the Toupins. Aime was born in St. Boniface, MB on April 25, 1917 to Joseph Dupas and Alvina Dery. Aime grew up in St. Boniface, the youngest of 13 children. He enlisted in The Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 where he served as a wireless operator and air gunner. He married the love of his life Rita Dupas in 1944 and spent over 60 joyful years together. After the war Aime returned to St. Boniface and raised a family of nine. He worked for Westeel Rosco in Winnipeg and was transferred to Vancouver in 1962. For 16 years Aime's weekends and holidays were spent boating with his family at their cabin at Pitt Lake, BC. He spent his retirement years travelling the world, South Africa, Australia and Europe.
