ANNE HIEBERT (nee DRIEDGER) After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Anne Hiebert passed away on January 21, 2006. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Garry (Beth) their children; Michael, Lisa, Laura; son Alvin and his children Amanda (Joe) grandson Gavin and Jenny; son Harold (Norma) and their children Jerold and Vanena and daughter Diane (Shaun) and their children Chelsey and Cordell. Anne was predeceased by her husband Abe in 1997 and her youngest son Brian in 2000. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 1:30 p.m. from the E.M.M. Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Tuesday, January 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the Church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care, Box 670 Altona, MB R0G 0R0 and or to M.C.C. Box 1888 Altona, MB R0G 0R0. The family wishes to thank, the caring staff at the Altona Hospital; the Altona and district Palliative Care Unit; and especially her many friends who helped her stay independent as long as she could.
