KATHLEEN ANNIE McMULLAN (ROSENCRANS) (nee TREHERNE) Peacefully, at the Golden West Centennial Lodge on January 21, 2006, Kay McMullan, aged 86, joined her Heavenly Father having trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ from an early age. The memories of her love will live on in the hearts of her family. Kay was predeceased by her parents Albert and Elizabeth Treherne; infant daughter Audrey; her first husband Clarence Rosencrans and sister Edith (Les) Elliston. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Norma (Sandy) Beitz and Jan Craig; grandchildren, Heidi (Rayal) Bodden, Tracy (Matteo) Uggeri, Wendy Beitz (Darren Casson), Ryan and Becky Craig; great-grandchildren, Joshua Irwin, Reese and Maya Uggeri; and her loving companion Fred McMullan. Kay was born in Brandon on February 8, 1919 and moved with her family to Winnipeg, where she completed her high school at Daniel McIntyre and attended the United Church. She married Clarence Rosencrans in September, 1940 and had two daughters, Audrey and Norma. Following the death of Audrey and Clarence she went to work for Eaton's in the paint department. She married Fred McMullan in May 1949 and they had one daughter Jan. Mom took pleasure in her family, maintaining and hostessing in her home and shared life with dad (Fred) for 34 years. They were members of I.O.F. and their bowling league. They started their own square dance group of family and friends when living on Dunrobin. She was a wonderful cook and baker, especially of pies, a seamstress, knitter, loved to dance and produced beautiful oil paintings. She enjoyed being with children and delighted in puppies and dogs. She found pleasure in trailer camping and travelling which included trips to Florida, and Grand Cayman and Italy with her family. The family would like to thank the staff for the excellent care and kindness given to Kay at the Rosewood Village and Golden West Centennial Lodge. The service of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one half hour prior to the service time.
