DONALD BRUCE CUTHBERTSON September 5, 1950 - January 10, 2006 While in the Philippines on vacation, Bruce Cuthbertson passed away suddenly. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Al and Jean in Winnipeg and his three brothers, Dale (Barbara) in Chilliwack, BC, Brent (Lena) in Lions Bay, BC, and Douglas (Bonnie) in Saskatoon, SK and his nine nieces and nephews (Michele, Megan, Alley, Lauren, Brandon, Murray, Matthew, Lynn, Michael). Alvin Grado, a friend from the Philippines, was with him at the time of his death. Born in Alberta, Bruce was schooled in four provinces, after which he was employed by Manitoba Telephones before becoming a licensed commercial diver. For over 25 years he was Operations Manager for G. Oswald Blasting Inc. in Ottawa. During this time he served on the steering committee for blaster certification laws. Bruce's affable personality and integrity will be sadly missed by all who know him. A family graveside service was held in Winnipeg on January 20, 2006.
