CAROLINE (CARRIE) RADEWICH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother on January 21, 2006, at the age of 92 years, at the Whitemouth Health Centre after a courageous battle with Parkinson disease since 1980. Carrie was predeceased by her husband Joseph Sr. on October 26, 1985; sister Julia; brothers, Adam, Marion and Joe. Carrie will be dearly missed by her children, Helen, Joseph (Nellie); grandchildren, Brian (Lorna), Barry (Heidi), Brad (Candace), Glen (Doreen); by her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Tylor, Hailey, Liam, Tristen and Harlee and by great great-grandchild Alexander. Carrie was born on May 15, 1913 in Medika, MB daughter of Catherine and Nick Lozinski. Carrie lost her mother when she was only two years old. Carrie was married to Joseph Sr. on January 10, 1932 when they settled and lived on the farm till 1983. Later she moved to the Community Housing in Prawda till 1998, her last seven years were at the Whitemouth Care Centre. Growing up on a farm Carrie became an excellent gardener and loved the outdoors, she especially loved flowers. She enjoyed music and was always singing. In her spare time she loved to knit and crochet. Carrie was an outstanding cook. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Spence and all the Staff at the Whitemouth Care Centre. Also special thanks to all the volunteers that stayed at her bedside during the time she needed it most. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 12:00 noon in the Reynolds Community Hall, Prawda, MB with Pastor Jerry Spoor officiating. Interment will follow in the Birch River Cemetery, Medika, MB. Pallbearers will be Glen, Doreen, Brian, Barry, Brad and Kyle. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Carrie's memory may be made to the Parkinson Society, 302 - 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4 or to a charity of one's choice.
