ROBERT (BOB) FOSTER Surrounded by his family, Bob passed away peacefully at the age of 66 years old on January 21, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Cynthia and Harvey Foster; brother Tom Foster and his parents-in-law, Peter and Sophie Hlady; his brothers-in-law, Len Roberts, Barry Roberts and nephew Bill Roberts. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Stella; his children, Wayne (Becky) Foster, Shelley (Carl) Woloshyn, Glenn (Fiancee Carrie) Foster, Barbara Foster; five grandchildren; Amanda (Alexis), Mark (Amber), Melissa, Kyle and Jeremy and one great-grandson Liam. Survived by two sisters, Evelyn Roberts (Stonewall), May Roberts (Logans Lake, BC), brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Rose Bell (Calgary) and by many nieces and nephews. Bob worked at Paul's Hauling for many years and Gardewine North until he was diagnosed with lung cancer in the year 2000. Bob and Stella enjoyed their summers at Lakeside Trailer Park for many years. Family would like to thank Dr. Chris Ibbitt, Dr. Leylek and Dr. A. Maksymiuk for looking after Bob and also Dr Taraska. Also a very special thank you to Derek Debrecen for being there for us in the Emergency Unit. It was much appreciated Derek, by all of us. Another special thank you to nurse Suzette on Unit A4 at the Health Sciences Centre. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, reception to follow. Interment of ashes will be done in the Spring at Glen Eden. Rev. Bill Vincent will officiate at the memorial service. In lieu of flowers a donation in Bob's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 Goodbye my family, my life has passed. I loved you all to the very last. Always continue to love each other, for my sake. For those you love don't go away, They walk beside you everyday.
