LLOYD EVAN OWEN On January 22, 2006 we lost our best friend, our Dad, our Grandpa Lloyd to cancer - five short days after his 77th birthday. Lloyd was predeceased by his father Evan H. Owen and mother Eva A. F. Owen. He is survived by his loving wife, Clarice, son Tim (wife Darlene), daughter Michelle (husband Tim) grandchildren Tianna, Evan, Megan, Jocelyn, several cousins and many good friends and colleagues. Meeting people and keeping in touch wasn't just his livelihood, it was one of Lloyds many passions. After graduating geology in 1954 and working in the field for a few years Lloyd looked for a more social occupation. Entering the real estate world in 1968 allowed him the flexible hours, social contact and family involvement he desired. Lloyd will be well remembered for his sense of humour, his ease of making people feel comfortable, his wisdom, patience and insight, his willingness to keep up with technology and young people and his love for animals. Lloyd was a dependable man, a man of honour and integrity and is already missed. A memorial service will be held at Neil Bardal 984 Portage Ave. on Thursday January 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Please forward regards through condolences@nbardal.mb.ca In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to palliative care/hospice development or a charity of your choice.
