She was born in Willow Bunch, SK. Her youth was spent there and in St. Eustache, MB. Cecile worked in Winnipeg for some years and later married her dear Ernie in November, 1937. They worked hard at raising a wonderful family of 10, residing in St. Eustache and Winnipeg. Cecile loved the beauty of nature, music, children and family gatherings. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, gardening and volunteering with various church activities. Mom was a person of immense love and kindness for all, had great strength and a deep faith to guide her. She nurtured and supported her family with patience and wisdom. She loved life and treasured her long friendships. Her smile and the twinkle in her blue eyes lit up a room. Her sparkle will be missed. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
