Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM SCHWARK 1926 - 2006 A tender heart stopped beating And hard working hands are at rest. With great sadness, we say good-bye to a dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Left to cherish his memory are his life's love, wife Lenore; sons, Marvin (Cheryl), Cameron (Audrey) and David; grandson Dwaine (Tracey); great-grandchildren, Kayla and Tim. William also leaves to mourn his passing his sisters, Pat, Martha, Margaret; and his brother Raymond. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and extended families. William was predeceased by his parents, August and Minnie, five sisters and three brothers. Bill was a man who lived for his family and was always the one to turn to for help and advice. Bill contracted for Abitibi for many years. Besides his family, farming was his passion. He started farming in the Glenmoor area by purchasing land. Much of it was bush which he cleared, making it into productive farmland. It was something he loved and continued to do until just before his passing. He also liked to socialize with friends and enjoyed going to farm shows. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on GH6 at the Health Sciences Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Lisa Miller for all her care and concern. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. East, Beausejour with Pastor Mark Koenker officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Greenwald. Flowers are gratefully declined. If family and friends so desire, donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or St. John's Lutheran Church.
