ELSIE BARTOSZEWSKI (BARTO) (nee HANCHER) Peacefully on January 23, 2006, surrounded by her loving family, our dear Mom passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 82 years. Mom will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Linda Sellar (Dave) and Ruth Liwiski (Ken); grandchildren Orlene of London, England, Mandie, Shane and great-grandchild Madeleine whose presence always brought a smile to her face; sisters Olga Hembroff (Walter) and Julie Hancher, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1983, and her sisters Nell, Dorothey and Anne Hancher. She will be sadly missed by her many friends at the Manitoba Eastern Star Chalet. Special thanks to Mom's Home Care Workers since we know how much she appreciated your kindness and support. The family would like to express our appreciation to the incredible staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, especially 7AWest and SICU for their care and compassion. According to Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, January 27, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance.
