I’m unsure if this is the same Bill and Olga Knowlson that lived in my old neighborhood culdesac but if it is, I have nothing but beautiful memories with them both. Bill and Olga along with their dog BJ were the highlight of my everyday. I would skip over early on the am and after school, basically whenever I had a chance to spend time with my lovely neighbours and their little doggy. Olga would be tending to the garden all hours of the day, and Bill would be fiddling around with the Koi pond in his backyard. I was welcome at any time of day, no matter what. I even got to go inside and see their birds they had as pets. The amount of love I got from those 2 was immeasurable especially since we had no relation aside from being just their neighbours. When my younger sister was born, Olga gave us a gift of a hand made photo album, so beautifully crafted, we still have it till this day. I got married and never saw them again but boy did I miss them. They made my childhood so memorable. After my fathers passing, Bill and Olga supported us emotionally more than anyone I knew. I absolutely love them and will continue to share their memories with my children and spouse as the years go by. I’m 110% positive they are relaxing in a beautiful rose garden surrounded by Koi ponds in heaven somewhere. - Posted by: Amarit Grewal (Neighbour ) on: Jan 13, 2023
