MARGARET GRACE ROBERTSON Peacefully on January 23, 2006, Grace passed away at Donwood Manor at the age of 81 years. Grace is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Lou; sister Joan; nieces, Janis (Phil) and family, Lois (Harold) and family; nephew John (Colleen) and family; special friends Karen (Gerald), with sons Corey and Matthew, and many other good neighbours and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Margaret Elder. Grace was born May 3, 1924 in Winnipeg and attended school in East Kildonan. She worked for the government during the war inspecting artillery shells, where she met her husband. For many years, Grace worked as a social worker at Marymound School for girls. In her spare time she would show dogs, in particular, West Highland Terriers and Cairn Terriers, some of which were champions. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Donwood Manor and Beacon Hill Lodge for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Mary Wiebe and her husband Henry. Cremation has taken place and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe and Brazier with Brother Jorge Villegas, O.F.M., Cap. as celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
