Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA REIMER Maria Reimer, aged 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Maria Friesen was born on November 22, 1938 in Steinbach, MB to Peter K. and Helena (Kehler) Friesen. She was married to John H. Reimer on April 2, 1967. Besides her husband, she leaves behind two daughters, Velda Mae (Marlyn) Menz, Wimbledon, ND and Lavina Reimer and fiance Chad Calder, Winnipeg, MB; one brother Abe (Mitzi) Friesen, Winnipeg, MB; one sister Henrietta Friesen, Steinbach, MB and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister Helena, in infancy. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31 at the Worldwide Church of God, 50 Barnes St., Winnipeg, MB. Viewing will be held on Monday, January 30 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg.
