Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN NOONAN (nee LEGGETT) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen, our dear Mum and Nana, at the Deer Lodge Centre, on Thursday, January 26, 2006. A loving Mum and devoted Nana, she will be dearly missed by daughters, Val (Kip) and Auriol (John) and son Gary (Linda). Grandchildren, Stephanie (Clive), Terri (Jamie), Scott (Amber), Bryan (Nicole), Chris (Mal) and Kara; as well as six great-grandchildren will sadly miss but will always fondly remember NANA. Her kindness and compassionate love for every child in the family will be her legacy. She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1995. Mum was born in England on September 22, 1922. She was serving in the Second World War when she met and married Harold Noonan (RCAF). Mum, along with daughter Val, came to Canada in 1945. Harold remained in the RCAF for over thirty years so Eileen experienced many moves while raising their family. Her children, and later their children, were her foremost passion. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family and was always a nurturing beacon for every one of her cherished loved ones. To listen to Nana laugh was to really hear life's enjoyment. To sit in her lap was to experience a true giving love which asked nothing in return. Nana also had a genuine love for animals. Her cats were lucky enough to be spoiled with the same love and affection Nana consistently displayed for all living things. She was always there with a smile and a helping hand for all. Eileen spent most of her retired years in London, ON prior to moving to Winnipeg to be with Val and Kip. Her most recent stay at Deer Lodge was made as comfortable as possible and the family expresses thanks to the staff and residents of 3 South for their kindness and friendship to Eileen. Nana's life will be celebrated informally and privately by our family. Inurnment will take place in the Serenity Room in Thompson In The Park. Eileen's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
