MILTON H. TEGELBERG Born January 18, 1914 in Eriksdale, MB. Died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Tsawwassen, BC. Eldest son to Sofia and Henning Tegelberg. Predeceased by parents and brother Ferdinand Tegelberg of Eriksdale and sisters, Jenny Borradaile of Victoria, BC and Judith Watson of Sanford, MB. Milton was a Second World War veteran serving with the Winnipeg Rifles and the Highland Light Infantry in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He joined Canadian National Railway in 1949, retiring in 1979 with 30 years service as pipefitter and welder. He was a member of the Transcona and Tsawwassen United Churches as well as the Independent Order of Foresters. He was active in community affairs in Transcona until 1979 when he retired to Tsawwassen. He is survived by his four children, Henning (Louise) of Ajax, ON, Eric (Jeanie) of Tsawwassen, Velma (Carl) of Calgary, AB and Laurette (Dennis) of Edmonton, AB and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
