Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDRICK CHARLES RUSSELL With profound sadness, Fred Russell, aged 73, passed away January 4, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Grace Russell in 1980. Fred proudly served in the Canadian Forces during the Second World War. After the war, he worked many years for Via Railway and later at Canadian Linen. He enjoyed his hours as an avid fisherman. He leaves to mourn his next of kin and companion Wendy Jackson; along with numerous friends: Carrie Brown, Michael Kannon, Deb and Gord Murphy, Sandi and Salina Lazaruk, Dennis and Feride Bigoblin, and Brian Liscum. Fred's wealth of knowledge enriched us all. Fred lived his life with dignity, character and the discipline to lead by example. Fred, you will always be in our hearts. Your kindness, compassion and philanthropy towards all people and God's creatures inspired us and many others. We love you and miss you. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211

Fred was my uncle and my mother's youngest brother. I last saw him in the year 2000 and tried to keep in touch with him but finally received no answers to my mail. I am sorry he is gone because he was a very kind man who gave of his time and was very generous just like his father, my grandfather Willoughby Russell. - Posted by: Gail Johnson (Family) on: Nov 01, 2009
