HARRY ZALISCHUK Peacefully, on Saturday, January 28, 2006, Harry Zalischuk passed away at the age of 95 years. Harry was predeceased by his wife Mary on January 20, 2005; step-son Bernie and step-son-in-law Nester. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his step-family; daughter Jeanette; granddaughters, Lynne and Brenda (Rick); grandsons, Bruce, Barry and Bud; great-grandsons, Shawn and Josh; daughter-in-law Reine; her children, Don (Kim), Valerie (Dave), Daniel; brother Steve (Anne) of Cambridge, ON; three brothers and one sister in Ukraine; nieces and nephews. Harry was born in Ukraine on November 25, 1910 and came to Canada in 1930. He worked as a labourer on a farm and later for Canada Packers until his retirement after 33 years. Harry enjoyed his retirement and spent many hours doing beautiful carpentry work. The family would like to thank the staff of Oakview Place for their excellent care, comfort, compassion and kindness to Harry. Parastas will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukraine Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. and Watt St. with Rev. Fr. Michael Winn presiding. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
