EUGENE SABOURIN On January 25, 2006, Eugene Sabourin slipped away after a brief and brave fight with cancer. He will be missed most by his loving partner Pat Bacik and by her children, Pamela (Jean), Michelle (Nick) and Johnpaul and special nieces, Mary and Shawna. The many members of Pat's family will all miss his cute grin and contagious laugh, especially Walter (Betty), Geri (Michael), Sandra and Gail (Jack) with whom they shared many happy times. Eugene and Pat had six years of love and friendship, they were companions and soul mates. Pat, you and I will always be together, no matter what , he always said. Eugene was an accountant most of his life, but in the years he had with Pat, he enjoyed travelling, photography and watching CNN (especially Nancy Grace). He loved polar bears and in addition to his many trips with Pat, he took one trip to Churchill all on his own just to see them, he took lots of pictures to share with everyone! He was a wonderful, sweet, dear man... Eugene was taken away from me, days before he even passed away. Eugene was taken away from me and I didn't have any say. Yet, he will be with me always, they can't erase the time we shared. I'll treasure each moment I had with him; the love in my heart will stay. Goodbye, sweet love, good night sweetie, I will see you in my dreams. Love you, your soul mate forever and ever, amen, Pat.
