Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE WESENBERG George Wesenberg passed away Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Erna; two daughters, Ingrid Christiaens (Gordon) of Winnipeg, Sylvia Wesenberg-Kot (Walter) of Winnipeg; son Peter Wesenberg (Cathy) of Westbank; three grandchildren, Toby, Mickey, Maxwell; step-grandchild Christopher; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Lydia, father Nathaniel, sister Walttraut, two brothers, Gustav and Gerhard. George lived in Winnipeg for 40 years, while working for the Federal Pioneer Electric Company. He retired and moved to Peachland, BC in 1991. George loved spending time with his family and working in his garden. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with interment to follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart Stroke Foundation, 201-1456 St. Paul Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 2E6.
