EDITH (EDIE) EBERT April 2, 1917 - January 31, 2006 Peacefully, Edith passed away at Heritage Lodge at the age of 88 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children Victor (Gina), Carol (Kevin) McGrath; grandchildren, Jason McGrath, Victoria-Dawn McGrath and great-granddaughter Toni-Dawn McGrath. Also surviving in Germany are stepchildren Veronica and Gert and stepgrandchildren Nadja and Grisha. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband George Henry Ebert, parents and all her siblings predeceased her. Mom was a member of Unit 283 ANAF Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Eastern Star. In her younger days, mom enjoyed crafts, bowling and bingo and always enjoyed having open house on Boxing Day for friends and neighbours. Our deepest thanks go to the staff at Heritage Lodge who took care of our Mom with kindness and genuine affection. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Kirkfield Park United Church, 472 Kirkfield St. Interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
