ROBERT ELDON GLENN Peacefully, on February 1, 2006 at Concordia Place, Robert Eldon Glenn, age 91 years, passed away. Eldon was born near Carman, MB on December 30, 1914, the second son of the late William and Jessie (Graham) Glenn. On September 16, 1950, he was married to Alice Violet Smith who predeceased him in July 1989. He is survived by three children, Robert of Winnipeg, Helen of Calgary and George, and daughter-in-law Carol of Winnipeg. Also surviving are Helen's children Denise, Nicole and Charles Bergeron all of Calgary, and sisters-in- law Betty McIntosh, Jean Smith of Winnipeg and Mayme Glenn of Abbotsford, BC and many nieces, nephews, and cousins across Canada. He was predeceased by his father William in 1961, mother Jessie in 1963, brother Lawrence in 1994, brother Harold in 1942, and son-in-law Edward Bergeron in 1998. Eldon was employed by Canada Post for over 25 years, retiring in December 1978. A graveside service will be held in the summer. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
