LAWRENCE W. BEREZOWSKI October 7, 1939 - February 2, 2006 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 66 years. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Connie; daughters, Doreen (Rex) and Lisa (Murray); his greatest joy granddaughter Courtney and grandson Brayson; stepgranddaughter Saylah; also survived by one brother and one sister and sisters-in-law, Laura (Jack) and Elaine (Rudy) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad Mike and his mom Mary. Larry was born and raised in Kamsack, SK. He was a barber in Wadena, SK and then moved to Lynn Lake to work in the mines. Larry worked as a plumber/pipe fitter for Bodnars Construction for 15 years in Winnipeg and retired from the Seven Oaks School Division as a mechanical technician. Larry was a member of the Legion No. 141 for many years. He enjoyed listening to Ukrainian music every Saturday afternoon. He helped on the family farm. He loved the outdoors and was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends. Larry faced his cancer with grace and dignity and never complained and kept his sense of humour until the end. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Monday, February 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
