VIVIAN LENORE MATHIESON KEEN JENKINS (nee KEELER) 1920 - 2006 Peacefully, on February 1, 2006, Vivian Jenkins passed away with family at her side. A loving mother, Vivian is survived by her two sons, Rob Mathieson and Alan Keen (Debra Callaghan), one granddaughter Erica and two great-grandchildren, Quin and Sequoia. Vivian was predeceased by her husbands, Robert M. Mathieson, Walter George Keen and Alan B. Jenkins as well as by her sister Yvonne Whitehead. Mom's caring and compassion were evident in her choice of career. She was an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) at Misericordia Hospital for many years and was also an active volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross both during the Second World War and after her retirement in 1984. Mom enjoyed reading, travel (including several trips to Barbados) and especially her times at the lake. Her wit, encouragement and loving care will be sadly missed. We are grateful to Dr. Maxwell and the staff of the Pembina Place Personal Care Home for their help and support. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
