Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD FRANKLIN BARGEN April 29, 1953 - February 1, 2006 Don peacefully passed away in the arms of his loving wife Karen, on February 1, 2006 at the Carman Memorial Hospital, of pancreatic cancer. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Karen (nee Swark); four children and one grandson, Nicholas (special friend, Monique Furet) and Cole Bargen, Natalie (fiance, Tyler Holigroski), Jarrett (special friend, Stacey Zastre) and Brock (special friend, Messyna Roulette). Don was predeceased by his father Frank Bargen. Don is survived by his mother Mary (nee Janzen); three sisters, Linda (Dave Enns), Ruth (Ron Stege), his twin Elaine (Gerry Falk); one brother John (Donna-Rae); and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was an inspiration to all of those around him and his memory will continue to be a positive influence on the lives of those touched. He was a wonderful husband, and an outstanding father, son, brother and friend. He was a man full of wisdom and he always had something to teach us about positive thinking, working hard, enjoying life to the fullest, and appreciating the beauty of nature. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his strength and courage. As Don would say, Don't mourn because it's over, rejoice because it happened. A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held at Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, MB on Monday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or alternatively used to Make Someone's Day.'
