JERRY OSADCZUK March 22, 1948 - February 2, 2006 With great sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Jerry Osadczuk on February 2, 2006 after a struggle with cancer. At his bedside his loved ones were present; daughter Suzie, his love Dee Dahlin, brother John and sister-in-law Gail. Jerry is survived by his love Dee Dahlin; daughter Suzie (Rob); grandsons, Sebastian and Major; daughters, Diane and Kathy (Dave); brother John (Gail); niece Michelle; nephew Jason; cousin Ursula and aunt Anne in Winnipeg; Angie (Wanda's daughter from his second marriage). He will also be remembered by all the cousins, aunts, uncles and their families in Poland and special friend Jeff in Winnipeg. He will be missed by his coworkers and friends from Royal Canadian Legion Polish Branch No. 3465. Jerry was predeceased by his father, mother and his second wife Wanda. Jerry was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1960 and lived his life in Winnipeg. Jerry was a dedicated worker who worked 38 years plus at Pauwels Canada. Jerry's love and passion was enjoying staying out at Gull Lake and Stead Forest with Dee. Jerry knew every road and trail in Stead Forest. If you came out to Gull Lake and Jerry and Dee were not there they would be in Stead Forest picking mushrooms and blueberries. Every night there would be bonfire, just sitting around and relaxing. His 4x4 knew all the shortcuts and trail and roads, he would never get stuck? Jerry, I will miss you at the lake. Sincere thanks to Dr. Fatoye and Dr. Lezak and all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor Unit 1 for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In accordance with Jerry's wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB. In the Forest Among the Trees! If you're filled with woes and worry If you're mighty hard to please Take a rest forget troubles In the forest among the trees! If the grind has kinda got you And you'd like a little ease Just lubricate the friction In the forest among the trees! With the campfire burning brightly Gather round and warm your knees You'll find a restful haven In the forest among the trees! With surroundings bright and cheery With freedom like the bees Just a little bit of Heaven In the forest among the trees! CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
