Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLANDE DIONNE (ROLLIE) (nee BOUCHARD) June 13, 1925 - February 2, 2006 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rollie was predeceased by her parents Hermenegilde and Lea Bouchard, her loving husband Armand (Mousse), her brother Richard and his wife Leda, and her brothers-in-law Aime Cadieux and Joe Daneault. Rollie is lovingly remembered by her sons Gerald (Susan), Lynn (Shirley); and her daughter Annette; her grandchildren Michael, Ryan, Andrea, Phillip, Tanya and Melissa; and her great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Hannah, Cole, Ethan, Abigayle and Charlie. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Claire Cadieux, Gisele Comeault (Ben), Carmelle Daneault, Muriel Schrader (Nick) and Gilberte Andruski (Stan) and her sister-in-law, Therese Jutras as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. Rollie was born and raised in Letellier, Manitoba. During the Second World War effort she worked in the aircraft factory as a parts assembler. She had many jobs over the years but the most important one to her was as a loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was never too busy to listen, she had a wonderful sense of humour and was always ready with a helping hand. She lived her life in an honest and steadfast manner and she dealt with her illness with courage and dignity. We referred to her often as our Guardian Angel because she was the one we all went to with our worries. We know she will continue to guide us while in the arms of our Holy Father. The inspiration of her example will surely be passed on to many generations. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate care of Rollie since her admission on December 1, 2005. A mass celebrating her life will be held at Holy Family Church, Archibald Street, on Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will follow in Letellier at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Heart Association. Arrangements are entrusted to LeClaire Brothers, 775-2220.
