ROBERT GILMOUR Robert passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2006, at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife Linda; daughter Ailie (Steve); and newborn grandson Brogan; son Rory; mother Elizabeth (Liz) of Tranent, Scotland; sister Elizabeth (Betty) of Muldura, Australia; brother Roger (Jean) of Kirtling, England; sister Elaine (Bill) of Topsham, ME; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father William in 2002. Rob immigrated to Winnipeg from Scotland in 1964, married Linda in 1968 and moved to Kelowna in 1979. The family wishes to thank the congregation of First United Church, Dr. Auret van Heerden, Kelowna Cancer Clinic, the staff at Kelowna General Hospital, Palliative Care, I.H.A. Home Support and the staff at Cottonwoods Extended Care-Douglas Fir Unit. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Church, 721 Bernard Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 6P6, with Rev. Lorna Hillian officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1633 Pandosy St., Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P6, or the First United Church Memorial Fund (see address above).
