SHEILA BERTHON (nee TOBIN) Peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2006, Sheila passed away at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 71. Mimi was born on May 4, 1934 and was a life long resident of Winnipeg. She married Georges Berthon in May 4, 1957 and together they raised four sons until Georges' passing in 1989. She will be greatly missed by her sons Georges (Carol) Berthon, Chris (Debbie) Berthon, Tobie (Caroline) Berthon and Jim (Liana) Berthon, as well as her grandchildren Stephanie, Casey, Nikki, Carly, Tyler and Jeremy. Mimi was predeceased by her parents Leo and Carey Tobin, as well as her brother Brian Tobin and sister Rita Macgregor. She is survived by her brother Jack Tobin. Prior to her retirement, Sheila had been a long time employee of James Richardson and Sons Ltd. Her family, friends and co-workers will remember her for her wisdom, grace and the quiet dignity she displayed to the very end. She provided unconditional love to her family and was an integral part of our joys and sorrows. We have been blessed to have had Mimi in our lives. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the entire staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion over the past few months. Thank you as well at all who sent their wishes, prayers and support during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald Street, with Father Ron Leger officiating.
