HENRY DON JANZEN June 20, 1928 - February 4, 2006 Peacefully with his family by his side at the Concordia Hospital, Henry Janzen passed away at the age of 77. Henry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Natalie (nee Petkau); children Dwight (Linda), Jacqueline, Stratton, Alison (Harv), Elsdon; grandchildren Richard, Stephanie, Karli and Trevor; sisters Marie (Allan), Eileen (Jack) and Esther; brothers Bill (Doris); sister-in-law Tineka as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Marie Janzen; step-mother Judith Janzen, brothers Frank, Jacob Richard at age 12 and Jacob Richard at age 15. Henry worked for 25 years in the glass business with Westmacott Paint and Glass. In 1970 he took over the flooring division of Navin Enterprises and purchased the business in 1973. He was active with Gideons for the last 14 years. Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank Dr. David Reimer for his compassion and care. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Seven Oaks, St. Boniface and Concordia hospitals.
