ALICE JEAN SCHRODTER January 18, 1956 - February 3, 2006 Peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 10:10 p.m., Alice Jean Schrodter (nee Bouchie) passed away at the Women's Hospital with her family at her side. Jean enjoyed dancing, loved music, cooking for her family, laughing and joking around, but most of all she loved being with her family, nothing more made her happy. Jean leaves to mourn her husband Willie; mother Maria Bouchie; one daughter Denise Bouchie; sons, Christopher, Jamie, Nicholas, Clayton, Dennis and her baby Steven. Stepchildren, Ann (Michael), Simmons, Erica (Blaine), Johnny (Gladys), Willie (Jackie), Russell (Chrissy) Gordon, Karen. Grandchildren, Gregory, Jimmy, Jason and Brittany and Russell Jr. Step-grandchildren, George, Diane, Jennifer. She also leaves to mourn eight sisters, Carrie Sinclair, Evelyn Green (John), Linda Merasty, Marlene Bushie (Norman), Anita Cameron (Brian), Bertha Bouchie (Barry), Theresa Hornbrook (Gordie) and Rita Malynk (Morris); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. Jean was predeceased by her father Alex Bouchie; and two brothers, Joseph Mervin, and Clifford Bushie; and four sisters, Christina Kennedy, Mary-Anna, Laura Patricia Bouchie I, and Laura Patricia Bouchie II. Jean received Jesus as her personal Saviour. Verse, John 14:1-3. Wake service will be held Thursday, February 9, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr Street. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. from Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clayton, Dennis, Johnny, Ira, Brian Jr. and Willie Jr. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Womens Hospital.
