ALAN F. GILL On February 5, 2006, in his 82nd year, Al passed away at the Victoria Hospital. Al is survived by his wife Betty; sisters, Aileen Reynolds and Pat Greenfield; sons, Rick (Marilyn), Gord of Edmonton; grandchildren, Trevor and Amanda, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Clifford. He was born in Swan River, MB and later moved with his siblings and parents to Winnipeg. He served overseas in the Second World War and participated for many years in the Wartime Pilots and Observers Association. For his entire career, Al worked as an investment dealer. Al loved the outdoors. His activities of choice were golfing, skiing, canoeing and curling. Another pleasure of Al's was building the cottage, Badentoy , in Nopiming Provincial Park. He was also a longtime member of the Wildewood Club. Al was an honest fun loving man with a good sense of humour. A celebration of his life will take place Thursday, February 9, 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Reception to follow.
