BARBARA ANN KOVARI (nee SIMARD) May 23, 1943 - February 6, 2006 With great sadness in our hearts, surrounded by her family we announce the passing of our dearest wife, mother and nana, Barbara Ann Kovari on Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Pinawa Hospital. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years Charlie; her children, Kelly (Donna), Laura (Tom), Marilyn (Derrick), Neil (Tracey and her daughter Ashlee); her precious granddaughters, Missy, Felicia and Bobbi. She also leaves her brother Louis; sisters, Beatrice and Ethel; as well as in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, friends and extended family in Hungary. Barbara also leaves their pet dog born on Christmas day named Holly Berry . Barb was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Louis Simard Sr.; as well as her brothers, Harold, Alex, Dick, Garnet; sisters, Minnie, Mary and Edna; and her precious granddaughter Ashley. Barb was born on May 23, 1943 in Manigotagan, MB. She met Charlie in Bissett and they were married on August 5, 1961. Mom's family was her pride and joy, she devoted all her time she had with her children and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. from the Lac du Bonnet Community Centre, Lac du Bonnet, MB with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. If friends so desire memorial donation in her memory may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB or to a charity of one's choice. We watched you suffer We watched you sigh But all we could do was just stand by. When the time came We suffered too You never deserved what You went through. God and Ashley took your hand We had to part. When you spoke before you died, these words we heard you say. I love you all and it's okay .
