OREST DMYTRO LUCKI It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Orest Lucki, husband, sweetheart and best friend of Laura, wife of 30 years. Orest, known to his multitude of friends and acquaintances as Lucky has with his passing left a hole in the fabric of our lives. Orest is survived by sisters, Sophie West, Mary Lucki, Stephie (Roger) Devriendt and brothers, Joe (Isadora) and Tony (Sandy). Also by sisters-in-law, Janice (Paul) Giasson, Joyce (Roy) White, Judy Schapansky and Cori Peterson, brother-in-law Curtis (Evelyn) Peterson and mother-in-law (our rock) Ethel Peterson. Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Orest was predeceased by his parents, Dmytro and Pauline Lucki, brother-in-law Art West, father-in-law John Peterson and sister-in-law Leslie Campbell. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Allan, Charlie Charette, John Strachen and Dmytro Hnytka. He will be laid to rest at a private graveside ceremony. A celebration of Orest's life will be held on Friday, February 10 between 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Norwood St. Boniface Legion, 134 Marion St. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may me made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
