JULIA ANNE REICHERT (NOWAK) 1914 - 2006 On Tuesday, February 7, 2006, our dear mother and grandmother, Julia Reichert, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness. Julia will be sadly missed by her son George (Theresa); daughter Antoinette (Len) Bugera; grandchildren, Don Reichert (Susan) of Calgary; granddaughter Kristal Deighton; sisters, Alice Tropack, Nellie (John) Chipka, Mary (Ted) Havelelock; brother-in-law Ted (Jewel) Reichert of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael on January 2, 1986. Julia was born on March 29, 1914 in Winnipeg and spent most of her life in East St. Paul. Mom was a long time member of the East St. Paul Seniors' Club where she enjoyed many activities. Mom was well known for her beautiful flowers, creative knitting, crocheting and delicious perogies. She was an extremely generous and caring person. Thank you to her friends at the Seniors' Club for their many acts of kindness and to the doctors and staff of 4B at St. Boniface Hospital. A special thank you to her dear friend Betty Ambrose for her friendship and support. Prayers will be said on Friday, February 10 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
