Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE ARLENE FLETT Eagle Woman Child Turtle and Bear Clan February 10, 1942 - February 4, 2006 Unexpectedly, our beloved and precious mother, gran, kokum, sister, auntie and soon to be great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006. She will be sadly missed by her children, Curtis Dekoning, Haven (Sean), special grandson Kolbie (Wanda), granddaughter Cori and soon to be great-grandchild. Her sisters, Shirley (Louis) Cyr and Elizabeth (George) Zielger and brothers, Sonny and Rick (Bev) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends. She was predeceased by Cory Dekoning, Ethel (Mecas), Wilfred Flett (parents), Billy Prince (brother), Doris Dyck (Mecas) (aunt) and other family. She was an honoured and well respected Elder of the Lord Selkirk / Dufferin community - always lending a helping hand. She opened her heart to the community and how she loved to hug the children. Her honour, love and wisdom will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Viewing will take place Saturday, February 11 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Home, 724 Selkirk Ave. Service will be officiated by Mae-Louis Campbell at 3:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
