GEORGE-AIME COMEAU Peacefully passed away February 7, 2006. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Eleanor Tootsie (nee Doiron); children, Jackie (Brian) Harrison, Annette (Frank) Dumais, Roland (Audrey), Philippe (Bonnie), Claude (Dayna); eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his brother Lucien (Lorraine); and sisters, Gisele (Maurice) Lafreniere and Denise Dupas. Brothers-in-law, Peter Tucker, Louis Clyne, Leonard Doiron (Andree); and sister-in-law Pat (Maurice) Schaubroeck; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Victor and Angelina (Verrier); brothers, Gaston, Gabriel, Joseph; and sisters, Rita (Tucker) and Marie-Jeanne (Clyne). George was born in LaSalle, MB on June 22, 1923. He worked for Modern Dairies from 1946 to 1969, then left to work for Lafreniere Sheet Metal where he was employed until he retired in 1987. His hobbies included golf, gardening and wood working. Dad loved doing crossword puzzles, was multi-talented and always looked forward to new challenges. He spent many hours building his train set and enjoyed the company of Claude's three beagles. His family will miss him dearly. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10 at Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc St. A private interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the White Fathers, 228 Hamel or to a charity of your choice. Love you and miss you. Into your hands I commend your spirit, O Lord.
